Personal data are data that we obtain through Google Authentication Services, such as your full name, e-mail address, and OpenID; the e-mail address you use to create an account through the e-mail/password sign-up process; the information you offer through filling out the Profile section of the product; product configuration; messages/chats communicated within our platform; data associated with video watch history.

In order for us to store the content you create in FamTivi, we must tag it with a personal identifier that we create based on the personal information you provided or information that was derived through the account creation process. If you log into FamTiVi using a Google account or other e-mail address, this personal identifier is linked to your account.

In order to speed up the login process, login data may be stored in the form of cookies in your browser. If you use another company’s account (e.g. Google), this storage depends on how you have set up your account with that company.

We strive to access the minimal scope of data required. We do not request or access data such as Google contacts, Gmail content, Google Drive files, or any other Google services unless explicitly needed and consented by you.

We access your full name, e-mail address, and OpenID through Google Authentication services. This information is used for account creation, user identification, and account recovery.

We may access publicly available YouTube videos that are created through your YouTube account if you choose to import respective video links into our playlist management system.

Client identifier (cookie ID), page views, session durations, device/browser characteristics, and anonymized IP address may be used for site analytics and usage metrics. We do not associate analytics data with your personal identity (except in aggregate).

Account creation / login: To match or link a Google account with a FamTiVi account, avoid duplicate accounts, and enable seamless login.

Profile population: To pre-fill certain fields (e.g. user name, email, avatar) when the user signs in via Google, saving user effort.

Feature enablement: To enable “Import from YouTube” or “Sync playlist” features. For example, if you import a private playlist or channel, we fetch that data to display or embed within your FamTiVi dashboard.

User content linking: To tag or associate content you create or import with your account identifier.

Analytics & improvements: To measure feature usage, track error rates, assess performance, and generate aggregate, anonymized reports.

Notifications / correspondence: To send you service-related emails (e.g. notifications, account status, support) at your authenticated email address.

Fraud prevention, security, abuse detection: To detect suspicious behavior, prevent spam or misuse, block malicious accounts, and enforce our terms.

Your information may be stored or communicated to third parties to allow us to run, support, analyze, and maintain our services. Only the minimum information necessary for each transaction will be shared. Such service providers include those that supply cloud hosting services, e-mail hosting, and analytics services.

Your information may be submitted to government agencies to comply with lawful requests by the government.

In the case that Neurodigits Inc. is sold, merged, or reorganized, your information may be shared with the successor entity.

We do not share your Google account, YouTube data, or other personal data with advertisers or non-affiliated third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

All user data, including Google-sourced data, is stored on secure servers (e.g. encrypted databases, TLS / HTTPS encryption in transit).

Sensitive fields (where applicable) are encrypted at rest (e.g. personally identifiable fields, tokens).

Access controls, role-based permissions, and logging are in place to limit who within our organization can access user data.

We conduct regular security audits, vulnerability scans, and follow industry best practices (e.g. OWASP, etc.).

We use secure token protocols (e.g. OAuth 2.0) so that we store refresh tokens or access tokens safely, and periodically expire or rotate them.

In case of data breaches, we commit to timely notification to affected users and remediation as required by law.

Retention period: We retain user data for as long as your account remains active or for a minimal additional period (e.g. 12 months) after account de-activation, unless law requires longer retention.

Inactive accounts: If an account remains inactive for a prolonged period (e.g. 24 months), we may anonymize or delete associated data (with notice).

User-initiated deletion: Users can request deletion of their account and all associated data (including any imported YouTube data) through the Profile menu. Upon such a request, we will delete or anonymize all data linked to your account (including Google-linked fields, imported YouTube data, analytics logs, etc.) within a defined timeframe (e.g. 30 days). We may retain anonymized logs or aggregate data (without personal identifiers) indefinitely for system analytics.

Backup / archival: Some data may remain in backup systems for a limited time beyond deletion (e.g. up to 90 days) before being purged, as part of routine backup retention policies.

Our site uses Google Analytics for the purpose of determining the number of accesses to FamTiVi and other statistics, which stores your identifier in cookies for the purpose of distinguishing unique users. Please contact Google directly for more information.

FamTiVi uses the YouTube Data API to retrieve information that you specifically request to import into the platform from YouTube. FamTiVi will not access your YouTube data unless you specifically utilize functions on the FamTiVi platform that require it.

For example, if you search for a Playlist ID that is private Playlist associated with your YouTube account, FamTiVi may access your private Playlist in order to execute the chosen import function.

Once your YouTube information has been imported into the FamTiVi platform, you may choose to share it with others through various sharing options.

We use cookies for essential site functions and analytics. We may show advertising through Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

FamTiVi relies on Google products and services, such as Google Information Services, Google Analytics, and YouTube, in order to operate. FamTiVi takes the privacy of children seriously. Using "Learner Profiles", parents and guardians can create a profile for their child. These profiles do not require an additional e-mail address. We require a username, first name, last name, year of birth, and timezone in order to properly display the site's information. Beyond that, we do not require any additional information in the Learner Profiles. For additional protection of your child, you are welcome to use a pseudonym instead of your child's real name in the Learner Profile. Learner Profiles may also be used for individuals over 13 as well.
